... and it was great. Really good mix of valleys, fields, tracks and moorland. It had rained very heavily in the morning but by the time I set out in the afternoon the sun had come out. The first part out of Nawton, down in the valley, was very muddy but fun. The rest of the route was pretty dry and fast and all of the bridges are back in place.
In excellent condition at the moment...

Just rode this route, and the ground is dry and conditions fast. The bridges at SE614 899, SE 622 948 and SE 675 859 are still missing, but unless it's been raining hard there should be no problem crossing the rivers.
Drying out nicely

Rode this route the other day, and it's all drying out nicely. The bit by Hold Cauldron is very nice, although the bridge is still missing by the church. As the river is low this isn't a big problem.
